This large Holiday Rental property is the main house of Redhills Demesne and is set in the rolling parklands of the 250 acre estate. With everything from expansive lawns, perfect for a family game of croquet, football or even tennis, to the dense wood and hills, ideal for a hearty walk before dinner to the mirror-like lake complete with boat and fish, Redhills House really is the ideal get away.
The house is a large two storey building that has been refurbished in the graceful style of its era. In redesigning the interiors, great care has been taken to use the highest quality materials to make it as cosy as possible for those winter stays and as light and airy as possible for the summer months.
The ground floor has an expansive Drawing Room/Conservatory with an open log fire to warm up after long walks or bicycle rides. The Dining Room across the hall easily seats 8 and has beautiful views across the lawn. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a top of the range cooker and plenty of space to cater for a full house. Also on the ground floor is a separate utility room with a deep freeze, larder, washing machine & dryer and a boiler room to dry out any muddy, rain soaked clothing. There is a separate downstairs cloakroom.
Moving upstairs, there are four spacious bedrooms – 2 ensuite with showers and 2 twin bedrooms which open onto a balcony where you can take in those stunning views across the park. This also a third bathroom.
Back outside, there is parking space for 2 or 3 cars as well as a garage where any other golfing or fishing equipment can be stored. This garage also houses 5 bicycles of numerous sizes which can be used by guests.
